Public Exhibitions on Northern Fringe Masterplan Layout Options
Ipswich Borough Council plan to hold a number of exhibitions starting in January 2013 showing 3 layout options for the Northern Fringe Master Plan modelled on a garden suburb extension including a country park. Details will be shown on possible options for schools, shops, commercial and community facilities, green spaces etc. Of key interest to local residents will be the site access arrangements and implications on traffic congestion. This will form part of the consultation process and we would encourage everyone to attend and make your views known. We will let you have more information as it emerges and will be making a formal response to the consultation on behalf of our members and those who wish us to represent them.
An advance view of the options can be seen on pages 81-86 of the Northern Fringe Issues & Options Report.
A public meeting will be held on Tuesday 29th January 2013 at the Northgate Arts Centre (part of Northgate School) from 7pm to 9pm so that members of the public can debate the issues and have their say on the proposed Northern Fringe development.
Please put into your diary and come along and have your say.
